Oxford Presbyterian Church
will be closed from March 14 thru April 11th
Public Worship Services is suspended
The Governor and Medical & Health leaders have been clear that one of the most effective ways to slow the spread
of the COVID-19 virus is through “social distancing.” The Session do not want to put anyone at undue risk and has decided that there will be no gathering in the building for public worship, all group gatherings, including bible study, ministry meetings
& any events. They are all postponed during this time. Session is looking into alternative methods to worship. For everyone's safety, a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the building will be done before the Church is back opened.
Many are asking what to do with your weekly offering?
Envelopes can be put in the mail slot on the door (on the E. Gowen Ave side of church, near the office)
or you can mail you envelope to the Church (8501 Stenton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150). If you use online banking, check with your Bank to see online Bill Pay is available.
Although no one is in the building, Rev. Taylor can be reached via Phone or Email or leave a message on the answer machine.
Thank you in advance for your understanding. May God be with us as we navigate this unique situation.
May we be urgent in our prayers for those who are ill, as well as those who are caring for them.
Updates will be posted on the Website and Facebook and communicated via phone calls.
